Tongue-tennae
Since SeapCreature likes to create new appendages and heads for himself, and all sorts of other attributes for his body parts, he needs a quick way to collect and analylze the genes of things. Like a chameleon, his tongue can dart out with great precision, and the magic antennae that sprout out have receptors to gather everything he needs.
